KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A simple swipe and you're done but it may take two cards to buy something from a store. Under a new Texas law, SB 1381, if a clerk asks you to show a photo ID to match the name on your credit or debit card and you refuse they can legally refuse to sell you the product or service.

Killeen Resident Turns Unemployment Into Opportunity

Killeen resident Tonja Orso did not know where to turn when she lost her job six months ago. A trip to a local grocery store pointed her in the right direction. Orso was one of 30 vendors who participated in the second annual Small Business Saturday at Workforce Solutions of Central Texas. The event started at 9 a.m. and continued until 1 p.m. behind the Workforce Solutions building at 300 Cheyenne Drive.
