The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce has extended the registration period for the Leadership Killeen training course, which is scheduled to begin Sept. 19. Participants will attend class one day each month at various hosted locations.

Nearly 50 vendors treated their guests with samples of their food under the roof of the Killeen Civic and Conference Center and gave them a glimpse into what their menu has to offer.

Calling all food lovers, you can taste the best food Central Texas has to offer at the 10th Annual Flavors of Central Texas. Not only will restaurants be featured, catering companies, bakeries and other food enterprises will also be handing out samples of their delicious food. To celebrate 10 years Central Texas Escape Rooms will have an escape room onsite for people to have fun with.

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) The 10th annual Flavors of Central Texas event is happening at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center Tuesday. For the 10th year, organizers have planned additional fun for the whole family. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the event will run until 8:30 p..m. The Killeen Chamber of Commerce is bringing more than 45 Central Texas restaurants, caterers and bakers together under one roof.

“Flavors of Central Texas is a chance to sample over 48 different restaurants, caterers and bakers under one roof,” said Jasmine Suino, investor services program manager for the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce.
