A Taste of Central Texas: Flavors 2026 Was One Delicious Night!

Central Texas came hungry—and Flavors of Central Texas 2026 did not disappoint!

The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce hosted Flavors of Central Texas 2026 on Saturday, August 29, bringing together local food lovers, businesses and community members for an evening packed with delicious bites, sweet treats, good company and plenty of Central Texas flavor.

From the first sample to the last bite, guests had the chance to make their way around the event, discovering new favorites and enjoying offerings from an incredible lineup of local vendors. Whether you came hungry, came curious or simply came to enjoy a fun night with the community, there was no shortage of reasons to go back for "just one more."

And the Winners Are...

Of course, when you've got this many delicious options in one room, somebody has to pick a favorite!

After plenty of tasting and some very important decision-making, The Little Grass Shack took home the Judges Choice Award.

But the judges weren't the only ones weighing in. Guests got to cast their votes for the People's Choice Award, and Koko Cafe came out on top!

Congratulations to both winners—and to every vendor who brought their best to the table. You made choosing a favorite anything but easy.

More Than Just Great Food

While the food may have been the star of the show, Flavors of Central Texas was about much more than what was on the plate.

The evening was a chance to shop local, discover new businesses, reconnect with familiar faces and make new connections. Friends and families gathered, businesses showcased what they do best, and the community came together for an evening that was all about celebrating local.

That's what makes events like Flavors so special. It's not just about finding your next favorite bite—it's about getting to know the people behind the businesses that help make our community unique.
